Hingham Zoning Board approves Linden Ponds courtyard project in first hearing. Acting Chair Jed Ruccio, Regular Member Paul Healey, and Associate Member Mario Romania Jr. unanimously determined that Erickson Senior Living's proposed multi-use courtyard, with seating, shade structures, gas fire pit, barbeque grill, and limited lighting, constitutes an insubstantial modification to the 2001 Comprehensive Permit at 300 Linden Ponds Way. The board found the courtyard use is accessory to residential use and does not affect affordable unit requirements.
In a related matter, the board continued Rockland Trust Company's hearing for two halo-lit building signs at 1 Technology Place to August 11, extending the variance decision deadline to September 30.
