HINGHAM — Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approves dog boarding and downtown coffee shop. Chair Robyn Maguire and Members Paul Healey and Jed Ruccio granted a modification to allow overnight dog boarding at 211A Lincoln Street, with 24-hour boarding subject to 9 pm to 7 am quiet hours and continuous staff presence; the Board also approved a Special Permit A2 for Slow Coffee, LLC to operate a sit-down and take-out café in a 1,166-square-foot space at 106 North Street in the Downtown Overlay District, citing alignment with downtown revitalization goals and compatibility with surrounding retail and dining uses.
