Hingham Zoning Board approves animal clinic expansion. The board unanimously granted a Special Permit A1 to Vetcor of Massachusetts for an addition to the Hingham Animal Clinic at 146 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, after Planning Board approval on May 28, 2026. Chair Robyn Maguire, Regular Members Paul Healey and Jed Ruccio, and Zoning Administrator Jennifer Oram found the project improves parking circulation and removes spaces from the state highway layout, enhancing safety.
Two applications were withdrawn without prejudice: Jared and Erin Krieger's variance for a deck and pool at 25 Mill Lane, and TGS Holdings LLC's signage application at 425 Lincoln Street. Rockland Trust Company's application for building signs at 1 Technology Place was continued to July 14, 2026.
