HINGHAM — Advisory Committee approves prior minutes, hears Hingham Center for Active Living cost update. Project Manager Dan Pilotta and Project Architect Chris Wanty presented design refinements reducing the construction estimate to $29,927,423, down from $34,100,000 proposed at the 2025 Annual Town Meeting, with General Contractor bids expected by mid-April and a construction funding vote anticipated at the 2026 ATM. In liaison updates, the Affordable Housing Trust is pursuing an RFP to add 30 to 50 units to the Lincoln School Apartments, pending board approval, while School Committee liaison Brian Stack reported out-of-district enrollment has grown from 52 to 58 students against Massachusetts' 3.6 percent OOD funding increase versus 10 percent tuition hikes.

Assistant Town Administrator for Finance Katie Dugan presented FY25 fund balance at $57.7 million total and a Five-Year Forecast showing a potential $300,000 to $400,000 shortfall once accounting for state and local revenue assumptions.
