Hingham Advisory Committee approves $770K for school emergency repairs. The committee unanimously approved $770,000 from fund balance to address critical maintenance at Hingham High School, Plymouth River School, and South Elementary, with School Committee oversight. Tina Sherwood presented additional capital needs for a 26-year-old failing fire alarm system at Hingham High School and energy recovery units at South Elementary, with work targeted for summer 2027 or 2028.
