Select Board greenlights $7.9M pool contract, Center for Active Living ballot measure

HINGHAM — Select Board unanimously approves $7.9M construction contract for new community pool and bathhouse. Construction Dynamics was selected as the low bidder among three firms, with the contract running through October 31, 2027. The board also voted unanimously to place a debt exclusion question on the 2026 ballot for a Center for Active Living off Bare Cove Park Drive and recommended favorable action on multiple 2026 Annual Town Meeting warrant articles, including $770,000 for school capital needs and authorization to install 27 streetlights at Station Street parking lot in collaboration with Hingham Municipal Light Plant.
The board tabled Article V concerning the possible conveyance of Lincoln School Apartments to the next meeting.
