Just One of 11 Hingham Property Sales Discloses a Price in July

Eleven property deeds were recorded in Hingham from July 17 through Aug. 15, but only one, 106 Fort Hill St., which sold for $671 on July 24 from Lori B. Leo, trustee, to Ryan D. Counihan, disclosed a sale price. That figure also stands as the period's price range and median, since no other comparable price data was available. The remaining 10 transactions, spanning addresses including Tuckers Lane, Elm Street and Whiting Street, were recorded without consideration amounts. Several appear to be transfers within families or into trusts, and two involved limited liability companies. With price data available for only one of 11 transactions, this month's figures reflect recording volume more than market value.
