Hingham Records 12 Property Transfers as Most Sale Prices Go Undisclosed

Hingham recorded 12 property transfers from Aug. 14 to Sept. 12, but only five of the 12 deeds disclosed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $401 to $980, with a median of $749. The period's top disclosed sale was 491 Cushing St. at $980, followed closely by 215 Gardner St. at $950. Cushing Street and Central Street each saw two transfers; the two Central Street deals, along with several others in the dataset, involved LLCs or trusts rather than individual buyers and did not disclose a price. With more than half of recorded transfers lacking a public price, the data offers only a partial picture of the period's market activity.
