Hingham Council on Aging elects Nevins to facilities chair post, advances center upgrades. Joe Nevins was elected Chair of the Facilities Subcommittee with assent from Sara Smithson and Josh Ross, with Jennifer Young attending as ex officio member. The subcommittee is advancing grab bar installation, table modifications, and parking expansion at the Hingham Center for Active Living.
The subcommittee plans to propose a joint Select Board meeting on short and long-term facility planning and will request additional funding for refurbishment at the full Council meeting.
