Council on Aging names new leadership slate

Hingham Council on Aging unanimously elects new officers in significant leadership transition. The 10-member board selected Sara Smithson as Chair, Josh Ross as Vice Chair, and Elaine Ward as Secretary, with Outgoing Chair Joe Nevins stepping down alongside departing members Cindy Jean and Ethel Franks. The council approved minutes from May 12 and May 21 meetings and reviewed the Director's Report for the Hingham Center for Active Living.
Building Committee work includes evaluation of Project Idea submissions with a June 8 deadline to determine allocation of remaining project funds.
