Council on Aging tables FY27 goals review, activates subcommittees

Hingham Council on Aging defers FY2027 goals vote to September. Chair Sara Smithson and seven committee members finalized subcommittee assignments for fall work at a meeting focused on preparation and planning. Transportation Coordinator Steve Monteiro is resigning effective September 30, and the Medical Driver position is open.
Facility improvements continue at the Center for Active Living, including a patio expansion and renovations to former officer rooms with estimated flooring costs under review.
