Hingham Council on Aging votes to fund memory cafe program. Director Jennifer Young's nine-member council unanimously approved a $500 monthly allocation from the gift fund to support a weekly memory cafe at the Hingham Conservatory, with the Hingham Council on Aging Library covering the first month's cost. The council also unanimously adopted January meeting minutes and Outreach Subcommittee minutes documenting plans for seven information sessions in homes led by Leon Merian, Joe Nevins, and Megan Hansen.
A pending project has cleared Planning Board and Select Board approvals, with the Advisory Committee scheduling three additional meetings to discuss programming data.
