Advisory Committee approves four warrant articles, hears three FY27 budgets

Hingham Advisory Committee unanimously approves four warrant articles, hears $1.7M in FY27 budgets. Chair Carol Tully and 14 members reviewed the Town Hall Budget at $739,282, the Annual Town Meeting budget request at $113,000, and the Reserve Fund at $854,608. Four articles passed unanimously: recommending Laura Boyle to the Hannah Lincoln Whiting Fund committee, assuming liability for DCR water work, and approving revolving fund spending limits of $265,000 for the Building Department and $80,000 for the Center for Active Living.
The town also received $3.8 million in federal tax credits from Foster Elementary School construction to go to fund balance.
