HINGHAM — Capital Outlay Committee elects George Danis chair and accelerates budget work. The five-member panel, meeting July 27 at Town Hall with Assistant Town Administrator for Finance Katie Dugan as liaison, elected Danis by unanimous consent to replace former Chair Mike Donovan. The Committee established a new timeline to finalize FY 28 budget recommendations by late December or early January — approximately 30 days earlier than previously scheduled — enabling warrant article presentation prior to the January 20, 2027 deadline.
Assistant Town Administrator Dugan briefed the Committee on the Clear Gov budgeting tool.
