Hingham Advisory Committee elects new leadership; school building projects advance. The committee elected Kevin Freytag as chair, Ted Ciolkosz as vice chair, and Brian Stack as secretary. The 2025 School Building Committee presented updates on roof and heating system projects at Plymouth River Elementary, South Elementary, and Hingham High School, all enrolled in the state Accelerated Building Repair Program.
Design teams appointed in January are conducting assessments; elementary school recommendations are expected by late June with high school cost estimates due in June or July 2026.
