Advisory Committee · Meeting of September 15, 2026

HINGHAM — The Hingham Advisory Committee reviewed technical specifications for elementary school roof projects and high school heating systems, advancing warrant articles toward the October 28 Special Town Meeting. Vice Chair Ted Ciolkosz's committee examined the School Building Committee's choice of PVC roofing with 25- to 30-year warranties and its favored geothermal option for the high school, projected at $50 million gross cost but reduced to an estimated $16 million net after $17 million in MSBA reimbursement and $15 million in federal IRA tax credits. The committee approved prior meeting minutes and expects print-ready warrant article drafts by September 30.
