HINGHAM — Advisory Committee approves prior minutes; reviews roof projects and pension funding. The committee examined South Elementary and Plymouth River School roof projects totaling $21.8 million in gross costs with 36.89 percent expected MSBA reimbursement. The School Building Committee requested $1.15 million in new funding to accelerate the High School Roof and HVAC project, estimated at $50 million with $32 million in combined state and federal reimbursements.
Hingham Retirement Board member Charlie Cristello presented four pension funding scenarios; the board is leaning toward modestly increasing annual contributions while extending the full-funding deadline from 2035 to 2036.
