Hingham's Finance Committee approved two town property sales, a $1.86 million Community Preservation package, and a companion zoning change at its March 5 meeting, while deferring a contentious $1.35 million employee health care subsidy to a later session. The $1,863,538 CPC package includes $605,487 for the Hingham Affordable Housing Trust Opportunity Fund and $333,500 to reconstruct the Plymouth River School basketball court and repair its deteriorating roof shed structure.
