HINGHAM — The Hingham Traffic Committee approved prior meeting minutes and charted priorities for traffic safety consultant designs across downtown intersections. JR Frey, Engineering, guided the committee through identified problem areas including Main, Cushing, South Pleasant Street, where a long-term roundabout is recommended; High, French, Ward, targeted for safety reconfiguration; and Main, Fearing, North, where a temporary four-way stop is proposed. The committee also flagged Water and Winter Streets crosswalks as poorly located and suggested quick-build improvements including curbing, green space, and bike lanes.
