Traffic Committee · Meeting of June 2, 2026
Hingham Traffic Committee unanimously approved crosswalk improvements for Fulling Mill Lane and South Pleasant Street, with Ashley Broyer moving the motion. The improvements include crosswalk landings and sidewalk connections to the Lehner Conservation Area. Concurrent with this decision, the town is pursuing design work for a $1 million MassDOT-funded roundabout in Hingham Center, though project scope is expanding due to required water line replacement.
The committee also reviewed progress on pedestrian crossing signals (RRFBs) installed at five locations and ongoing intersection work at North Street and Lincoln Street.
