Hingham Select Board authorizes $3.2 million in capital equipment. The board unanimously approved multiple purchase agreements for the Harbormaster and Department of Public Works, including a $200,000 drone system, a $933,157.64 patrol vessel replacement, a $237,270.80 tractor, and approximately $964,000 in additional DPW equipment and vehicles. The board also adopted the FY27 opioid settlement budget of $148,828 and advanced planning for a school building project debt override with a Special Town Meeting tentatively scheduled for October 28 and an August 27 state MSBA submission deadline.
