Select Board approves Lincoln School renovation and union contract.

HINGHAM — Select Board unanimously approves three major initiatives. The Board authorized a $367,440 agreement with TM Construction Management for Lincoln School Apartments renovations funded partly by a $100,000 state disability grant, approved a three-year Teamsters labor contract effective July 1, 2025, and recommended $1.9 million in reserve fund transfers for Town Meeting. Katie Dugan, Assistant Town Administrator for Finance, explained that the reserve package includes $579,075 for special education out-of-district tuition under the post-override MOU, a first implementation, and $1.3 million for municipal needs including $1.1 million in snow and ice and $217,000 in legal services.
