Hingham Select Board approves ride service for children. The board unanimously approved a limousine license for Loop Shuttle, a locally owned business offering dedicated ride services for kids, with Doris McCann as primary driver and Charles Veasey as an additional driver. Both drivers are 7D certified and have undergone background checks including CORI/SORI checks and fingerprinting.
Town officials also reported a critical water shortage in the Weir River water system that prompted a total outdoor water ban for Hingham, Hull, and Cohasset to protect public health and firefighting capability.
