HINGHAM — Select Board unanimously appoints six part-time assistant harbormasters and adopts FY27 strategic goals. Harbormaster Ken Corson presented Robert Sullivan, Trevor Steiner, Colin Cleary, Matthew McLeod, Edward Buckley, and Joseph Griffin for spring-through-fall operational roles supporting harbor management and bylaw enforcement through June 30, 2029. The Board also adopted fiscal year 2027 goals centered on investing in the community, financial stewardship, and transparent communication, with priorities including a senior support plan, improved capital planning, and a standing facilities committee.

Town Administrator Tom Mayo announced the town received a $1 million grant to construct a planned rotary in the town center.
