Hingham School Building Committee approves Bacon Construction's April invoice and addresses ongoing Foster Elementary repairs. The committee unanimously approved Pay Request 034 for $102,638.78 and reviewed winter storm damage mitigation, irrigation well testing, lighting control remediation, and heat pump commissioning updates. The designer is investigating a lower-cost alternative to a proposed $19,000 roof screen revision.
The landscape architect and landscaper will meet in late May to review site plantings, with final play area pavement markings scheduled for summer break. The committee meets next on June 3, 2026, to review phase 3 progress and project closeout.
