HINGHAM — School Building Committee approves design and OPM contracts for high school and elementary projects. The committee unanimously approved design costs of $463,700 and OPM costs of $154,856.40 for Hingham High School; elementary school roof projects have design costs of $256,900 and OPM costs of $20,000, pending School Committee approval. Crowley Engineering presented three boiler options ranging from $300,000 for repairs to $2 million for replacement. The committee, led by Chair Angela Thedinga, targeted June 2026 for MSBA submission of elementary roof projects and deferred construction management decisions to meetings scheduled for March 10 and March 24.
