HINGHAM — School Building Committee approves nearly $49,000 for high school project procurement. The committee unanimously backed $48,433 in JLL and ProjectDog services to support the Construction Manager at Risk solicitation for the Hingham High School MSBA roof and heating system overhaul, with a Request for Qualifications notice appearing in the Central Register this week targeting six to eight qualified firms. Chair Angela Thedinga's committee also unanimously approved $60,000 in additional structural evaluation work by Gale Associates for Plymouth River Elementary and authorized $21,685 in JLL invoices and a $2,000 P3 invoice.
The committee has set June 23, 2026 as the target date to select a heat pump system option—100 percent geothermal, hybrid ground and air source, or air source—following refinement of summer cooling assumptions and incentive estimates from National Grid.
