Recreation Commission approves prior minutes, reviews summer staffing.

HINGHAM — The Hingham Recreation Commission unanimously approved prior minutes and reviewed winter programs and capital projects. Chair Vicki Donlan reported indoor pickleball launching this month and summer camp applications closing February 5, with required July 4 Road Race participation for counselors 16 and older. The Commission will request $333,000 for the Hersey Field Accessibility Project to connect parking to the playground and add accessible parking.
Commission member Mark Thorell projected a maximum FY2027 Revolving Fund expenditure of $2,900,000, with a vote scheduled for January 13 at 6:30 p.m.
