Planning Board grants house reconstruction on Otis Hill; continues three other applications.
Planning Board · Meeting of May 4, 2026
HINGHAM — Planning Board approves Otis Hill house reconstruction, continues three site plans. The board unanimously granted Steven J. Meyers, Trustee Of The Meyers Family Living Trust, Site Plan Approval to reconstruct a single-family dwelling at 23 Otis Hill Road after the applicant reduced living area by 1,100 square feet and increased left-side setback to 13 feet; a second application for 210 Hull Street Trust LLC to modify an approved site plan also passed unanimously.
Matthew and Elizabeth Horne's proposal for 25 Lazell Street was continued after the board determined the driveway was oversized and excessive tree removal would degrade the scenic road character. The Town of Hingham's eight-pickleball-court complex at 25 Bare Cove Park Drive continues May 18 pending sound-barrier examples and stormwater revisions. Vetcor of Massachusetts LLC d/b/a Hingham Animal Clinic's veterinary addition at 146 Chief Justice Cushing Highway was also continued as neighbors raised concerns about dog-walking trespass and stormwater impacts.
