Hingham Planning Board continues five residential projects and approves one modification. Chair Tracy Shriver led the board in granting the Site Plan Approval Modification for Breakwater Development at 28 Arnold Road, with utilities, driveway, retaining wall, grading, and landscaping relocations approved 5-0, subject to recording of the Decision in the Registry of Deeds. The board continued applications for single-family dwelling construction and modifications at 1192 Main Street, 18 Elm Street, 16 Foley Beach Road, 4 Del Prete Drive, and 19 Kimball Beach Road to March 23, 2026.
Public comment at 19 Kimball Beach and 28 Arnold Road raised concerns about neighborhood scale, tree removal, and construction activity. Community Planning Director Emily Wentworth and board members noted missing stormwater details and landscape plans requiring resubmission on multiple projects.
