Planning Board approves sports court modification at 18 Elm Street with landscape conditions.

Planning Board · Meeting of March 23, 2026

Hingham Planning Board approves 18 Elm Street sports court modification conditional on landscaping. The Board unanimously granted Matthew Falconeiri's application to modify a June 2025 Site Plan approval and cure a stop work order, requiring submission of a landscape plan by a registered landscape architect that depicts tree removal and proposes Copper Beech mitigation plantings to screen the facility for Lincoln School Apartments. In the same meeting, the Board unanimously approved Site Plan modifications at 109 Weir Street and 16 Foley Beach Road by Doug Keach, ALR Homes; granted approval at 19 Kimball Beach Road for Jason Graca's residential reconstruction with nine conditions; and continued applications at 1192 Main Street and 4 Del Prete Drive to April 6, 2026.

The Board also approved conversion of Amazon's 100 Industrial Park Road facility to robotics use, reducing estimated daily vehicle trips from 1,200 to 8 to 10.
