Meredith Moulton (Harvey) Howlett, 81, of Hingham, died September 4, 2026, at the home where she was raised. Born in Hingham on March 12, 1945, to Draper and Mildred Harvey, she lived her entire life in town and was a member of Hingham Congregational Church for more than 70 years. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Howlett, and daughters Megan Baker and Catherine Gilfoy. Services and burial are private; a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, Hingham Congregational Church, or High Street Cemetery per the family's wishes. Constance "Connie" (née Golub) Gorfinkle, 91, of Hingham, died September 8, 2026. She worked as a theater and arts critic for The Patriot Ledger for more than four decades. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Gorfinkle, and daughter Elisabeth MacDonald; she is survived by daughters Jeanne and Anne. A funeral service was held Friday, September 11, at 11 a.m. at Old Ship Church, 90 Main Street, Hingham; burial was private.
