Most July Hingham Deed Filings Move Property Within Families, Not to New Buyers

Hingham recorded 12 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only two deeds disclosed a sale price, $530 for a Hingham property with no listed street address, sold by Judith A. Gratta to Tesno Holdings LLC and WCV Premier Investments LLC, and $434 for 24 Coolidge Ave., sold by First Parish in Hingham to Kenneth H. and Susan M. Brown. Those two sales set a median of $482, though that figure covers only 2 of 12 filings. Six of the 12 deeds moved property between same-family parties or into a trust rather than to a new buyer, and no street recorded more than one transfer.
