Lincoln Apartments board authorizes bids for ADA renovations, HVAC, and exterior repointing.
Lincoln Apartments, LLC Board of Managers · Meeting of January 26, 2026
HINGHAM — Lincoln Apartments board authorizes bids for three major capital projects. The Board of Managers voted unanimously on January 26, 2026 to authorize staff to solicit competitive bids for ADA renovations to the Kersey Community Room, a new air conditioning unit, and exterior repointing of the 1912-built Lincoln School Building, which carries an estimated cost of $1.5 million to $2.0 million. The town was awarded a $100,000 MOD grant in December 2025 for ADA upgrades to the kitchen and laundry facilities, with all work required to be completed by June 30, 2026.
The Community Planning Committee had denied a $500,000 Affordable Housing Trust request for the repointing project, forcing the board to explore alternative funding strategies.
