Lincoln Apartments board approves renovation work, delays warrant article
Lincoln Apartments, LLC Board of Managers · Meeting of May 18, 2026
HINGHAM — Lincoln Apartments board approves renovation work, authorizes interim spending. The Board of Managers unanimously approved three change orders totaling $47,304.82 for the Kersey Community Room renovation, including $30,919.05 for heat pump installation and $8,437.50 for electrical work, and authorized Chair Elizabeth Cullen to approve expenses up to $8,000 between meetings. The board also approved South Shore Laundry payment for resident services and $7,948.77 to Uline for supplies.
Board member Matt Dillis noted the failed Warrant Article 23 — which received 64 percent resident support — delays needed repairs and improvements by at least one year, forcing the board to coordinate with the Affordable Housing Trust on alternative funding through a potential fall special Town Meeting or direct town request.
