HINGHAM — Lincoln Apartments board approves $35,000 in renovation change orders. Chair Elizabeth Cullen and members Matt Dillis, Jack Falvey, and Connor Fallon unanimously authorized Change Order Number 3 for a sprinkler head extension (not to exceed $16,000) and Change Order Number 4 for window frame repairs (not to exceed $10,000) on the Kersey Community Room and Laundry Room project. The board also unanimously granted the Chair authority to approve up to $15,000 in additional project expenses between meetings, with affirmative votes required at the next scheduled meeting.
Staff reported the renovation is proceeding on schedule, though the board addressed a weekend security breach involving unauthorized contractor access through a back door near the dumpster; a locksmith is investigating fob-key upgrades for all door locks.
