Joint meeting explores Lincoln School Apartments renovation and potential disposition.

Hingham Affordable Housing Trust and Lincoln Apartments board hold joint residents' meeting on potential renovation or sale of Lincoln School Apartments. Affordable Housing Trust Chair Jack Falvey outlined a proposed RFP process for the 86 Central Street property and fielded resident questions about parking, HUD recertification, unit expansion, and timeline. Zoning Administrator Jenn Oram reported that interior renovations, generator work, elevator repairs, and community room air conditioning upgrades are underway.

Falvey stated the Town intends to retain a developer partner because it lacks professional staffing to manage the property effectively and that abutters and residents will have additional input opportunities in early April.
