Human Rights Commission approves health resource card design, empowers subcommittee.

HINGHAM — The Hingham Human Rights Commission unanimously authorized a three-member subcommittee to finalize and print a 5-by-7-inch health resource card featuring a QR code to local services. Superintendent Katie Roberts of Hingham Schools pitched coordination on anti-bullying and upstander programming, prompting the commission to defer its Bystander and Upstander Working Group update to the next meeting to continue talks with her. The commission targeted February 20 for completion of its 2025 annual report and agreed to coordinate with the Anchor newspaper on Black History Month coverage of the Tuttle family, while members will review Boston Globe opinion pieces on antisemitism ahead of a fuller discussion.
