Historic Districts Commission approves seven Certificates of Appropriateness at April meeting

Hingham Historic Districts Commission unanimously approves six Certificates of Appropriateness. Chair Daniel Clark and voting members Justin Aborn and Joshua Blevins approved projects at 76 Lincoln Street (two-story additions and garage), 27 School Street (barn conversion with dormers), 50 Pleasant Street (three-season room), 234 South Street (brick walkway and stone apron), 39 Middle Street (garage breezeway and bay window), and 323 North Street (window replacement). The commission tabled the Gallachers' fence application at 50 Pleasant Street and recommended design revision for street-visible portions.
All approvals were conditioned on adherence to submitted plans with specific dates; final aesthetic details including colors and stone veneer were reserved for administrative review by Administrator Heidi Gaul.
