Hingham's Sewer Commission raised rates 3.62 percent, approving a new calculation method. Superintendent Russell Tierney explained the rate would be based on upcoming fiscal-year budgets rather than prior-year actuals, making projections more accurate. The commission unanimously approved the new rate of $15.75 per hundred cubic feet and the FY2026 assessment of $2,487,508.82, mailed May 15 with a June 26 due date.

Weston & Sampson reported completing pump replacements at Broad Cove and cleaning ten wet wells. Tierney noted $800,000 in planned Inflow and Infiltration work, with $400,000 already encumbered and a potential MWRA grant or loan under consideration.
