Hingham Retirement Board unanimously approves five new membership applications and January payroll. Chair Charles J. Cristello and Members Eileen A.
McCracken and David P. Jones voted to authorize the January 2026 payroll warrant of $1,118,363.36, covering annuities, pensions, and cost-of-living adjustments, as well as cash disbursements totaling $124,040.68 that include a $54,586.23 death refund to the estate of Eileen F. Garvin.
New members approved include school bus drivers, paraprofessionals, and a firefighter. The board also approved one retirement application and one disability retirement following a medical panel review conducted in executive session.
