Foster School building committee approves invoices, targets spring closeout

HINGHAM — Foster Elementary School Building Committee approves $17,994 in invoices, moving toward spring closeout. The committee unanimously authorized PMA Consultants Invoice 56 for $13,538 and Bacon Construction Pay Request 31 for $4,456.37 during its January 14 meeting. Designer Gene Raymond reported that LEED Gold certification submission is nearly ready but awaits heat-pump system commissioning, expected April or May.
An irrigation well test revealed potential system alterations needed; Committee member Matt Meehan will obtain pricing on a tent-style shading structure for the Pre-K area to present at the February 25 meeting.
