Country Club Management Committee · Meeting of May 19, 2026

HINGHAM — Country Club Management Committee approves $2.6M FY27 budget with new equipment funding. Chairman George Kay presided over the May 19 meeting as the committee unanimously backed the operational budget and a capital request for golf course equipment totaling $35,000, citing scheduled equipment payments as the driver of the increase. Executive Director Kevin Whalen reported April revenue of $116,011.71 against expenses of $175,897, down $13,500 from the prior April due to poor weather and 7th hole flooding.

The committee approved three of six donation requests and reviewed a pool project bid from Construction Dynamics set to begin demolition and construction within days.
