Country Club panel approves donation requests, advances pool bid phase.

HINGHAM — Country Club Management Committee approves donations, advances capital projects. The South Shore Country Club reported December revenue of $173,967.22 against expenses of $135,622.01, a $79,516.30 increase from December 2024 driven by early golf permit payments, according to Executive Director Kevin Whalen. The committee unanimously approved a foursome donation to Hingham Little League and a $100 program sponsorship for Hingham Singers, while rejecting a Sarah Martin Sydney Marathon request.

Pool project sub-contractor bids are due February 4th, with general contractor bids due February 18th; the committee has contracted with Tyler Rae Design for a golf course master plan and will send an RFP to four vendors for a new point-of-sale reservation system.
