Commission on Disabilities · Meeting of January 21, 2026
Hingham Commission on Disabilities pursues school accessibility audit and library technology purchase. The four-member commission, with Chair Stephanie Gertz, Emma Lee, Jane McGrath, and Amy Muldoon, launched an audit of school desk accessibility after member Emma Lee identified barriers for students in wheelchairs. Member Amy Muldoon will research the cost of accessible alternatives, with potential funding through a Massachusetts Office of Disabilities grant program.
