Hingham Commission on Disabilities approves May minutes and skips 4th of July parade. Chair Stephanie Gertz and four remote members voted 5-0 to ratify the prior month's record, confirmed completion of all Town Hall accessibility signage with Federal Funding covering door work, and decided against marching in the July 4th parade due to insufficient volunteer confirmations. Gertz will draft a letter to Dr.
Buckey on behalf of the commission addressing school accessibility, particularly elevator staffing and wayfinding alternatives for fall. The commission will not meet in July and August, with the next gathering tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 16.
