HINGHAM — Cleaner Greener Hingham approves 2025 annual report, schedules cleanup event. The committee, led by Co-chair Janice McPhillips, received an update on the Black Earth curbside food waste composting program, which has attracted 10 residential signups and collected 0.36 tons of waste from Hingham High School cafeteria operations. Michael Poling will organize an April 11 townwide cleanup at the Hingham Bathing Beach, with Co-chair McPhillips seeking donations of gloves, bags, and refreshments.

The committee also advanced signage to promote proper redeemable can sorting at the transfer station.
